Private Christmas Markets & Nativity Scenes Tour – Advent in the Stuttgart Region

Get an overview of the many different Christmas markets in the Stuttgart region: from the baroque glow of Ludwigsburg and the medieval bustle of Esslingen to Hohenzollern Castle and the romantic old town of Tübingen. On the drive between the stops, I share insights from my many years of experience as a tour guide – about history, local customs and the tradition of nativity scenes in Württemberg.

You can extend or shorten each stop at any time. The tour is private and can be tailored to your wishes.

🗺️ Itinerary (approx. 8 hours)

• Pick-up at your hotel in Stuttgart, at Stuttgart Airport or at an agreed location
• Stop 1: Baroque Christmas Market Ludwigsburg on the market square between the two baroque churches – approx. 1 hour
• Stop 2: Medieval & Christmas Market Esslingen am Neckar – jugglers, crafts and a historic half-timbered setting – approx. 2 hours
• Stop 3: Hohenzollern Castle near Bisingen – ancestral seat of the Hohenzollern dynasty high above the Swabian Jura – approx. 2 hours
• Stop 4: Historic old town of Tübingen with Holzmarkt, St. George’s Fountain and the Collegiate Church – approx. 2 hours
• On request, visits to churches with remarkable nativity scenes along the route
• Return to your hotel or pick-up location

🚐 Pick-up & vehicle

We pick up all travellers – e.g. at hotels in central Stuttgart (Le Méridien, Steigenberger Graf Zeppelin, Maritim, Hotel Unger, Kronenhotel) or at Stuttgart Airport. The exact pick-up point is agreed with you before the tour. You travel in comfort in a fully equipped Peugeot Traveller.
